The Courage to Begin Again : My Story
By all appearances, I was successful — a solid education, a marketing job I enjoyed, financial stability. I had followed the ‘shoulds’ of life and felt that I was thriving.
But a few years into a lateral career move, repeated workplace conflicts and stifled creativity left me questioning everything. I realized I was no longer fulfilled — not by the work, not by the environment, and definitely not by staying silent to keep the peace.
I knew I couldn’t control others, but I could reclaim my peace. So I chose myself — my emotional well-being — and left my job, trusting that alignment would lead me where I was meant to go.
Soon after, I completed a long-paused life coaching course. Then, on a trip to Mexico, a conversation with a family member nudged me toward a personal development program. What followed was nothing short of transformational — I learned the power of the unconscious mind and how it was crucially connected to emotional healing. I discovered how the mind and heart can co-create clarity. I healed - and faster than I ever thought was possible. I reconnected with my purpose: to touch people in ways that made their lives better.
I felt alive again.
That’s when I realized two things:
That change CAN happen in an instant - so long as we decide that it’s time.
That my breakthrough didn’t happen just for me. That the tools of transformation I had discovered weren’t meant to be keep a secret. It was all meant to be shared.
BeyondMind Wellness was born.
We all grow up leaning more toward logic or emotion—choosing safety or joy. But true fulfillment comes from integrating both: aligning mind and heart, the masculine (logic, control, force) and the feminine (intuition, creativity, trust). We need both. When we clear the limiting beliefs and conditioning that cloud the thoughts of what we’re truly capable of, we begin seeing infinite possibility and start making decisions from clarity and trust—not fear.
I help women who are already full of passion, of drive, of love, of vision, and who know their worth, but that may not always trust her own ideas, her own voice, or her ability to create her own safety living as her true self. The type of women who values work-life balance, peace, freedom, security, meaningful, challenging but still joyful work, and that feel safe expressing themselves authentically.
Today, I make decisions from deep alignment, not fear. I speak up, hold boundaries, embrace my inspiration and creativity, make confident decisions, and trust the timing of my life. Success used to mean security and external validation. Now it means peace and confidence in being who I truly am — and helping other women succeed in their lives and work by doing and feeling the very same.
This journey has never been about becoming someone new — it is about remembering who I already am beneath the layers of conditioning, fear, and expectations.
And as Marianne Williamson so powerfully reminds us:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
May this remind you that as someone who constantly chooses to put others first - to now choose yourself for a change. May it give you the courage, trust and strength to pursue your own path - your happiness, your joy, your truth. Dimming your light and potential and being someone other than who you came to be is the greatest disservice you can do to humanity.
The day that I decided to start owning who I am, with love, compassion and curiosity is the day that my life changed.
